For those of you attending the Emerald Cup this weekend, what are you most excited about? What booths, speakers or other stuff are you most looking forward to?
Some stuff I’m excited about:
-Hanging with the DGC! I’ll be hanging with the Dude, Scotty and the rest of the team all weekend! Come hang out with us and meet the Dude Grows crew!
-Trying some bud from my fellow Cali home growers, especially my buddies @qgrows and @noobgrows who have both been crushing it in their gardens this year!
-hanging with my buddies from NewVape and checking out all their cool products. They make really unique vaporizers, enails and rosin stuff. Drop by their booth and check out all their cool stuff!
-Spreading the word about Growers Love! I’m excited to rep my company at our first event! Come find me and be one of the first to get a GrowersLove sticker!
-Smoking out everyone I encounter. I love sharing my weed, and I’m bringing a bunch of my exclusive strain “Ladies Night”. Come find me! I’ll make sure you’re having a good time! 😉

Preventive Dip!
Doing a preventive dip on some companion plants I picked up yesterday. Normally I would never bring outside plants into my indoor grow, but I just released a ton of predators in here so I’m going to make an exception this time. Still following some precautions though!
Giving them a quick dip in some tweetmint enzymatic soap will help take care of any stowaways. I highly recommend doing this with any clones or plants you bring into your grow. A quick dip in preventative solution washes off most bad critters and goes a long way towards preventing pest issues in the garden.

Orius Insidious / minute pirate bugs
Released into the grow to finish off the thrips. Also put out some amblyseius cucumeris slow release sachets.
Apparently both species can also survive on pollen, so I’m going to be experimenting with some companion plants and maybe some supplemental pollen feeding to see if I can establish a long term population for my garden.
If you have any experience with using companion plants or pollen to help establish predator populations, please hit me up!
